MCAL has received an Adult Education Technology grant through the Maine Department of Education. Support for the grant is provided through a sub-recipient grant from the ConnectME Authority, part of an award from the U.S. Department of Commerce National Telecommunications and Information Administration authorized by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Broadband Data Imporvement Act. MARTI courses offered for the Spring 2013 semester include: Photo Editing with Picasa, Computer Basics for Seniors, Getting Started with iPad, Working with Google Tools, Beyound Computer Basics and Internet and E-mail.
