I want to...
Something for Everyone
Whether you are thinking of going to college, starting a new career, going back to get your high school equivalency credential, or just wanting to pick up a new hobby, Massabesic Adult and Community Education has you covered.
Our Fall semester will start on September 11. We will hold afternoon academic classes on Mondays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at the York County Shelter, 147 Shaker Hill Road in Alfred, and evening academic classes from Monday to Thursday, 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Massabesic High School East Building. Our classes are flexible drop-in labs, so you can choose the days and times that work best for you to come to class. We recommend that you attend twice a week for two hours a session.
We also provide a wide range of online workforce certification classes for those looking to enter or progress in the fields of healthcare, legal, technology, and more, with funding available for qualifying individuals.
Our team is here to support you in achieving your goals, and our advisors can work with you on creating attainable plans for academic and professional growth. We have helped students get to college, train for a new career, and gain confidence in their skills.
Our Fall brochure has been mailed out and registration is now open. We are excited to be offering a wide range of classes for the community, including basket weaving, Japanese Art History, Basic Home Repair, and more.
